In 1997, my husband Keith and I bought property in Boulder because of the landscape; I make my home here now because of the community.
I feel there are two groups of people in Boulder, those that chose to come here and those that choose to stay here. Whether we are new to the Boulder community, or whether our family roots run deep in this country, we all share fundamental common ground in that we are Rural by Choice. With this in mind, I will work to preserve our rural, ranching community and local small business. I feel the best way to maintain our way of life is through planning, with the guidance and direction of the townspeople of Boulder. Therefore, I support Boulder Town and feel that the people of Boulder should control direction of their own community. As we work together to shape the future of our town and our lives it is important to remember there is more that unites us than divides us. I will work towards consensus. I am ready to listen.
